From May 28 - June 5, my husband and daughters were busy people! First, we headed out for Tennessee, where we checked out Ruby Falls in Chattanooga. WHAT a great experience! I never thought I was a cave explorer, but that certainly made me reconsider the appeal of spelunking!
After that, we drove to Asheville, NC to tour the AMAZING Biltmore Estate. WOW! I could certainly live there!! After that, it was down to Charleston, SC to see the 400 year old Angel Oak tree and visit the glorious Avenue of the Oaks at Boone Hall Plantation. Such a great history of the old south! Finally, we boarded the Carnival Ecstasy and went to the lovely Bahamas! It truly IS paradise! We all had a GREAT time, but now it's time for a long, hot summer of writing!
